Program:  Herbs of the Bible, presented by Kay Steele, Master Gardener. Kay has traveled to the Holy Lands on several occasions bringing her first hand knowledge of the herbs used during Christ’s time.

Program:  Program: Herbs of the Mediterranean, Madagascar and other Exotic Places, presented by James Gaymon, Master Gardener and Master Grower. He is an expert on growing orchids also. He will share his recipe for Orchid Ice Cream with us.

Program: Herb Vinegars. Our Unit will do an Herb Vinegar Workshop led by the Culinary Group Members. Bring your own bottles. We will provide the vinegar and the herbs.

Garden Tour of Hortulus Farm, Nursery and Gardens

Wrightsville, PA

We will leave from the Gov. Wolf parking lot at 8:30 to take a 10:30 tour of these Magnificent Gardens. We will have a gourmet lunch on the patio of their 1700's stone house in the middle of beautiful Bucks County.

Program: Renown Author and World-wide Authority on Butterflies, Rick Mikula will give us a funny and informative talk on the impressive migration of the Monarch Butterfly. You will learn what to plant to attract these "Flying Flowers" to your garden.

Program: Bird House Gourd Workshop led by Patti Milenkowic, Artist and Teacher.
Patti will demonstrate how to paint, varnish and decorate our own Blue Bird houses. A cost for this workshop will be announced at a later date.
